Confirm the exact submission deadline (date AND time) and late-penalty policy Check whether hard-bound copies, a digital PDF or both are required Export to the required file format (typically PDF/A) and verify it opens correctly Upload via the official submission portal and download the confirmation receipt Email the receipt to yourself and your supervisor as a backup record

After submission

Book your viva or oral defence if required and note the date and location Read the examiner instructions for the viva format and permitted materials Request feedback from your supervisor on areas to prepare for the viva Keep an editable copy ready in case minor corrections are required post-viva
